1. Who we are

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Wash (Laundry Services) Ltd. "You" means the business using this website or the client portal.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply when you browse this website, request a quote, or use the client portal. By doing any of those things you accept them.

We supply commercial laundry and linen hire to businesses. We do not offer a consumer service through this website, and the portal is only available to businesses we have a contract with.

3. Using this website

You may use this site to find out about our services and to get in touch. You agree not to misuse it — for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access to the portal or any account that isn't yours, interfering with the site's operation, or using automated means to scrape it.

The content, branding, photography and design of this site belong to us. You may not reproduce them commercially without our permission.

4. Quotes and estimates

Submitting the quote form is a request, not an order, and it does not create a contract. Any prices we discuss beforehand are indicative until we've assessed your actual volumes and linen types.

A contract begins only when we've agreed rates and terms with you in writing and you've accepted them.

5. Portal accounts

Portal accounts are created by our staff for contracted clients. You cannot register yourself, and we don't offer public sign-up.

• Each account belongs to one business, and can see only that business's orders and invoices.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for what's done through your account. Change the temporary password we give you as soon as you sign in, on the Account page.
• Tell us immediately at info@thewashuk.co.uk if you think someone else has access to your account.
• Keep your contact and collection details accurate — we rely on them to reach you and to collect from the right place.
• We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect misuse, or where a contract has ended.

6. Placing orders in the portal

An order placed through the portal is a request for collection under your existing contract. We'll confirm it and schedule a collection window with you.

The portal shows a status for each order as it moves through collection, our facility, and delivery. Statuses and any dates shown are our best current information and are intended to keep you updated — they aren't a separate promise about timing. What we've committed to on turnaround is what your contract says.

Item counts and totals in the portal are based on what's booked in. Where our count on receipt differs from what was ordered, we'll let you know and the actual count is what gets invoiced.

7. Prices, invoices and payment

You pay the rates in your contract. The rate card shown in your portal reflects those rates, including any pricing agreed specifically for your account.

The portal raises an invoice for each order and you can download it as a PDF. Unless your contract says otherwise, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date.

Prices are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate. We may change our rates in line with your contract's terms; we won't change the price of an order already placed.

8. Availability of the portal

We aim to keep the portal available at all times, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a fault in a service we depend on.

If the portal is ever unavailable when you need a collection, phone us on 0333 577 1355 — the portal is a convenience for booking and tracking, and it isn't the only way to reach us.

9. Our responsibility to you

This section is about this website and the portal. Our responsibility for your linen and for the laundry service itself is dealt with in your contract with us.

We provide this website and the portal with reasonable care and skill, but we don't promise that the information on the site is error-free or that the portal will always be available.

We are not liable for business losses arising from your use of this website or the portal — including lost profits, lost business or loss of data — beyond what is reasonably foreseeable. Since we supply businesses rather than consumers, this is a commercial allocation of risk between us.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and using the site after that means you accept the current version.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
